Wilkerson quotes:
"We're excited to get out there this weekend and try our best, and hopefully everything will cooperate. There are a lot of Countdown implications right now when these other guys are out there winning and we're middle of the pack but go out first round. It's impossible to catch up, but hopefully, this weekend we can figure out a way to do that. Maybe what we need to do is just forget about the Countdown and run our cars the best way we know how. However the chips fall, that's where they are.
"This weekend it will be fun to watch Daniel race. I wish I could be standing on the starting line to watch him every time, but half the time I'm strapped in my car. I'm excited, though. Hopefully I'll be able to stand there and watch him make the first run. This is a real neat deal with Summit Racing for him to run this special car for the event, and we sure do appreciate all they do for us."
