Wilkerson on the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals:
"First off, we're real proud to be a member of Team Summit. Especially with this being their 50-year anniversary, that is pretty special. It's always great coming to Norwalk and Summit Motorsports Park. Bill Bader does a good job, it's a great facility, and the fans are just terrific. Of course, they're all Summit Racing fans, and that's cool. Thursday before the event we get to help out with the employee's race there at the track, and that's always a really fun thing for me. I enjoy that and look forward to seeing all their employees. They're part of the family, too."
"I really think that the amount of power we have versus the amount of traction we have is the culprit. I know what the problem is, but putting my finger on being able to slow down my car and be a contender? I'm still working on that. I've made some good runs the last few races, we've just had a couple of small issues that really made us look bad. But we're going to get through that."
